Summer Youth Employment Program
Through the Summer Youth Employment Program, youth gain work experience and participate in workshops developing job and academic skills as well as good citizenship. In 1984, CASW was the first agency in the community to offer the program, and Northern Manhattan youth have used its resources ever since.
Support services include:
- computer assisted learning
- training in health and business careers
- work readiness instruction
- financial literacy workshops
- career exploration
- post secondary education options
- health and well-being
- youth leadership
- conflict resolution workshops
- substance abuse workshops
- violence prevention
