The In-School Youth / Transition to Adulthood Program
The In-School Youth / Transition to Adulthood Program encourages students to remain in high school and graduate, then enter college, an advanced training program, or the work force. Participants in this program are guaranteed a summer position through the In-School Youth Summer Program.Participants in the program can access services such as:
- basic skills instruction
- Regents / SAT preparation
- tutoring
- employment workshops
- adult mentoring and counseling
- pre-employment skills training
- internships
- leadership development and college awareness (including trips to college campuses)
- youth conferences
- project-based learning
- community service projects
