Cultural Workshops Program
The Cultural Workshops Program is the only one of its kind in Northern Manhattan. Through non-competitive, weekly workshops, youth develop an appreciation for the arts and the humanities. In operation for over 40 years, CASW's oldest program offers professional training at several skill levels in
- dance
- music
- art
- science
- mixed media
- martial arts
Participants also learn that there are no limits to cultural enrichment and civic commitment through public theatre and multimedia events involving parents and other volunteers.

Events CalendarI've taken so many classes over the years - art, ballet, piano, karate. They are all so much fun! I've opened myself up to new things, and I have discovered a lot that I didn't know about myself.- Karina, age 16
